From the back cover: Teddy Greaves was born in Kingston Jamaica – with a song in his heart. He's been singing ever snice. All over his native land. Throughout the West Indies. In every major spot in Nassau and Florida. To the Junkanoo Louge in Washington, D.C. and, in his spare time there, to radio shows, diplomatic parties, and an appearance on the Johnny Carson "Tonight" show. To Freeport, Grand Bahama Island. A stint on the M. V. Lucaya Cruise Ship. Back to Freeport. Thirty miles west to the Grand Bahama Hotel.

The tempo changes. "It's Showtime!" You go native and he's at home in Calypso. A contagious smile keeps flashing across that face. He's got the whole audience ramping lustily through the gay tunes of the Caribbean. You never knew you could sing like this. Even your kids get to go to the Trutlewalk. This singer is partial to the young set. He's got a whole lineup of your kids and everyone else's kids across the showroom floor, echoing the rhythmic refrains of, "Jamaica Farewell". They love him!

Versatility. He's not finished yet. The voice climbs and then soars to new heights in the finale. It's not just his voice. That would be enough. A tremendously talented musician. A magnetic personality. In short – a professional. And, when he sings, you listen. He has something to say and says it well. You have a feeling he's going to be saying it for a long time.

He's on his way up. And you met him on the way. At the Grand Bahama Hotel.
