The Music Of Harry Revel
Arranged and Conducted by Hugo Peretti
Mercury Records 20179
1957
From the back cover: The song, Voices In The Night, features the soothing solo voice of June Winters. Phil Bodner plays the moving clarinet solo on While The City Sleeps, and the Whistling Of Dawn comes from the puckered lips of Dick Kuhn.
Solid "concept-mood" set. I think the copy I found came from a disco jockey's collection. The DJ made notations on the back to help him remember certain aspects of the set including "mood music" and "good sound - a la David Rose". The DJ also thought the tracks titled "Counting Sheep" and "The Milkman Cometh" were "out of place".
