From the back cover: Pert, blonde, green-eyed Marion Worth was born in Birmingham, Alabama, but now makes her home in Madison, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. She began her singing career with her sister and as a team they performed on many Birmingham radio programs. Soon, however, Marion decided to strike out on her own, and as a single act she joined Happy Wilson and His Golden River Boys on WAPI and WAPI-TV. Wilson, an experienced veteran in Country music, realized that Marion had an unusually fine voice and a rare ability to communicate the meaning of a song. She took Wilson's advice to record, and her very firsts attempt, "Are You Willing, Willie," quickly found favor in Country music best-selling lists. Then, in the famous trade publication "Cash Box," she was voted one of 1960's Top Ten Most Promising Female Vocalists. It was about this time that seasoned Country and Western record producer Don Law recommended Marion to the famous Grand Ole Op'ry program, where she later made many successful appearances, and persuaded her to record for Columbia.

From Billboard - April 20, 1963: Marion Worth recently scored her initial pop chart success with "Shake Me I Rattle," following a series of other successes limited to the country field. Now the gal i out with another single, "Crazy Arms," another top performance and both these recent titles are here. In addition there are "Tennessee Teardrops," "Worried Mind," "Imitation" and other strong ballad offerings. This package could win lots of new attention for the thrush, who, though she sounds like Patti Page, has her own distinctive touch.
