From the back cover: Erroll Garner made his solo concert debut at the Cleveland Music Hall in 1950, winning critical and audience accolades. Since that time his concert acclaim has been world-wide.

One World Concert is Garner's first in-person concert recording in seven years. The long-awaited live concert album was recorded at the Seattle World's Fair Playhouse during his week-long concert there. The festive atmosphere which permeated the Fair is reflected in the performance here. For this album, Garner himself spent several weeks making selections from twelve hours of recorded material.

From Billboard - May 9, 1963: For several reasons this should be a big one for Garner. It's his first release on the Sinatra Reprise label and its his first live concert set since his earlier smash, "Concert By The Sea." Then, too, the performances find the pianist at his best on such items as "The Way You Look Tonight," "Sweet And Lovely" and his own "Misty." Solid with broad appeal.
