From Billboard - March 23, 1963: Each year many, many Polynesian-flavored albums appear, but here's one that stands out a bit over the rest for its authentic flavor, good vocal performances in the traditional manner, and fine ukulele, guitar and percussion backing. The tunes include a Tahitian-styled rock and roller, a cha-cha, and many with strong folk flavor of the Islands. Set has good sound and a legitimate ring.
