She and her steel-playing husband Bill composed her first bit hit, Here Comes My Baby, which helped her win a Grammy Award for the Best Female Performance in Country Music for the year 1964! Among her friends and fellow artists, Dottie is regarded as one of the truly "great people" in our business, as well as one of the truly great talents.
