From the inside cover, lower right under the photos: On his last European trip, Jimmy Smith met and became friends with French actor Alain Delon. Jimmy has written and dedicated one of the tunes on this album to the movie star, Delon's Blues. He is featured in the film Joy House. Two Lalo Schifrin tunes from the picture are also featured in this album, the hit recording of The Cat and Theme From Joy House.
