Fun Music For A Strip Tease Party
Bald Bill Hagan And His Trocaderons
Somerset SF-27200
1967
Great cover and the tracks are pretty good for a budget record even though there really isn't any lounge "bump and grind" sleaze to be heard on the vinyl.
It is disappointing to read that there is no "bump and grind" sleaze on the record. I found this vinyl at a thrift store for $1.99 and purchased it specifically for the "bump and grind" sleaze. At least you said it was ok. I will probably still enjoy it.
A track on this record may have been used in the movie "Freaked".
Cha Bump on the B side of this is named in the movie's credits, and genre-wise would fit with the song played in the den scene which also features in this trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JfxCGAKhgQ
Alshire are credited, who appear to have acquired the rights to the Somerset catalogue so it seems like it fits, but is it really the same song? I can't find any recordings of the track on the record...
