Of course this Lyman album is available for digital purchase download so I will not be posting a sample. However, I thought it'd be fun to post the cover images.
I love Lyman but this isn't his best work. The group seems to struggle on some tracks as they try to find a way to convert traditional holiday tunes into their small combo sound. There are some tunes that do work well in the Lyman style. The tracks We Three Kings and Winter Wonderland rock. And Christmas Song is just a nice quite piece featuring groovy vibe work.
