Stereo reprocessed tracks from 78 rpm mono releases of Artie Shaw's Musicraft Records sides. Musicraft had a considerable number of future hit-makers record at least an album worth of sides for them before they were snatched up by larger major record labels who could afford to provide far more lucrative deals then Musicraft could afford to make. Musicraft was basically a budget label, but it was definitely influential in advancing the careers of many of the great musicians who had their heyday during the 1940s and 1950s.
