This is a rather rare recording for Jesse in that he plays various organ types on the same album. Although Jesse Crawford was an absolute master of the theater pipe organ, he also perfected the Hammond organ. Listen to 'Jesse Crawford Poet of The Organ' complete on Youtube, and 'Jesse Crawford Remembering With Ann Stockton Harp Accompaniment' [ I posted both sides in two videos]. Both of these albums are Hammond TONE WHEEL organ in their entirety. If you need to lower your blood pressure then these two records come highly recommended by me:) Another must listen to is ' Organ Moods John Winters at the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ'. John plays a Wurlitzer electrostatic reed organ on much of this album, all is electromechanical organ or electronic, no pipes. John was a soap opera organist for over 40 years so be prepared to be entranced by his skillful emotionally rich playing:)
