MGM pushed this album in 1958 as part of a promotion named "June For Joni" during which a collection ("...one of a dozen") James albums could be purchased for $1.98 with the purchase of one at the regular $3.98 tag.

From the back cover: I dedicate this album to my father, Angelo Babbo, who died when I was just a little girl and whose love of beauty and music was born in me.
