House-Party Discotheque - David Carroll

The Breeze And I
The Happy Organ
House-Party Discotheque
David Carroll And His Orchestra
Mercury Records MG 20962

Here's a Carroll album featuring a pretty dull cover. The photo inset, according to the back cover, was taken in the "ID" Room at the Ambassador-West Hotel, Chicago.  Yes... that appears to be Carroll in the white tux.

Carroll made some great records, but more often than not you may find only a few tunes on a record that are made up of the good stuff we like up here in The Atomic Attic. This record is a mad blend of good and not so good stuff. I think Carroll was doing his take on the "House-Party Discotheque" fad that was trending.

My Kind Of Girl
Ramblin' Rose
Fly Me To The Moon
Never On A Sunday
The Breeze And I
Play A Simple Melody
Let's Dance Again
