Some Like It Modern - The Three Sounds

Caesar And Cleopatra
Some Like It Modern
The Three Sounds
Mercury Records
MG-20839 (Broadcast Promotional Copy)
1963

From the back cover: Gene Harris, Andrew Simpkins and Dill Dowdy are good musicians who enjoy playing together. The feelings and moods which they express musically are projected to their audiences with an ease and assurance that could only come from seven years of rehearsing, working, and paying dues together. Their repertory is wide, varied and flexible enough to make them equally at home in a "soulful jazz cellar" as in a sophisticated eastside type restaurant or night club.
