A Man & A Woman - Frank Pourcel
Under Which Star Was I Born
A Man & A Woman
Franck Pourcel
IR Imperial LP-9343
1967
thankx for the franckfest of these last few days. the music brought to us by orchestras such as james last, raymond lefevre, bert kaempfert and mantovani is unique and, sadly, a bit of a thing of the past.
is very thoroughly soothes my soul, though ... :-) and i'm sure i'm not alone in taking this stand.
You're welcome. I found all the Pourcel albums at one thrift last week. James Last... that name doesn't ring a bell... I wonder why I haven't stumbled across his work yet? I have to do some research. Thanks!

DeleteThank you for posting "Under Which Star Was I Born", a haunting piece which I have loved since first hearing it over 50 years ago.
ReplyDeleteYes, so beautiful, but can't find it on you tube, I just keep playing the LP!👍
